SQA Advanced Diploma in Travel and Tourism

The SQA Advanced Diploma in Travel and Tourism develops skills and knowledge in a range of technical skills that includes itinerary preparation, fare calculations, documentation completion and computer reservation systems. It also develops generic business skills such as interpersonal skills, information processing and management skills, problem-solving and information and communication technology skills.

The SQA Advanced Diploma in Travel and Tourism consists of 30 unit credits. Each unit credit has approximately 40 hours of timetabled learning and 40 hours of self-guided learning and study. The SQA Advanced Diploma usually takes two academic years to complete, but this timeframe is flexible.

SQA Advanced Diploma in Travel and Tourism can allow advanced entry to an English-speaking university. SQA’s qualifications are recognised worldwide.
